Welcome to My Personal Page
Getting a cancer diagnosis can be stressful for the patient, their family, and friends. They just want to feel better –– and that may be its own challenge.
That’s where Wellness House can help. They're here to meet those needs –– to listen, teach, guide, and empower. They take a psychosocial approach to healing, accounting for all aspects that impact how people affected by cancer are doing, beyond medical care. There’s no right or wrong, just what works for the patient, family and friends.
Wellness House has been doing this important work for more than 25 years. They are able to offer these critical services, at no cost to those affected by cancer, thanks to generous support from donors. In addition Wellness House has now grown their offsite locations to 16 and recently partnered with University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). The partnership with the UIC Survivorship Clinic provides 35 programs per month in their Mile Square Health Center bringing support to patients who previously have had no access to psychosocial services often critical in order to survive and thrive with cancer.
This cause is very important to me, and I hope you will join me by making a donation.
