Welcome to My Personal Page
After losing my father, Phil Soenke, to stage 4 lung cancer in 2017 and serving as a board member and treasurer to the board at Wellness House over the last 5 years, this cause and this organization have become very important to me.
Getting a cancer diagnosis can be stressful for the patient, their family, and friends, especially during this time of Covid. They just want to feel better –– and that may be its own challenge.
That’s where Wellness House can help. They're here to meet those needs –– to listen, teach, guide, and empower. They take a psychosocial approach to healing, accounting for all aspects that impact how people affected by cancer are doing, beyond medical care. There’s no right or wrong, just what works for the patient, family and friends.
Wellness House has been doing this important work for more than 25 years. They are able to offer these critical services, at no cost to those affected by cancer, thanks to generous support from donors. In addition Wellness House quickly adjusted at the outset of the pandemic and continued to provide its programs virtually over the past year.
I hope you will join me by making a donation.
