Thank you from Bill's wife
Life has brought us many trials, but Bill's cancer diagnosis in July 2016 was the hardest blow. Maybe it was because we were saying to ourselves "Really, What now!!" But we faced it as best we knew, head on and with faith the we would get through this. I can't say it has been easy, but God had been putting all the right things in our place as we needed them (even if we didn't know it) Wellness House was one of them. We didn't feel alone. To meet others that had the same diagnosis, other caregivers that had the same fears, struggles and funny stories was a relief.
I decided to participate in the Walk for Wellness House to support Bill, and to give back for all the many activities and programs (even a beautiful, quaint Valentine's dinner) that we have benefited from, and to help support future families that will be effected by cancer and hope they will find Wellness House.
That’s where Wellness House can help. They're here to meet those needs –– to listen, teach, guide, and empower. They take a psychosocial approach to healing, accounting for all aspects that impact how people affected by cancer are doing, beyond medical care. There’s no right or wrong, just what works for the patient, family and friends.
Wellness House has been doing this important work for more than 25 years. They are able to offer these critical services, at no cost to those affected by cancer, thanks to generous support from donors.
This cause is very important to me, and I hope you will join me by making a donation.
