As many of you know, my husband Ryan Cosgrove battled a brain tumor for nearly 8 years. He was the most positive person and faced adversity like a champ. Through years of treatments, recurrences and the most devastating symptoms you can imagine, he never gave up. The Wellness House provides support for cancer patients, caregivers and to those who have lost someone to cancer.
Getting a cancer diagnosis is stressful for the patient, their family, and friends. They just want to feel better –– and that may be its own challenge.
That’s where Wellness House can help. They're here to meet those needs –– to listen, teach, guide, and empower. They take a psychosocial approach to healing, accounting for all aspects that impact how people affected by cancer are doing, beyond medical care. There’s no right or wrong, just what works for the patient, family and friends.
Wellness House has been doing this important work for more than 27 years and were there for Ryan and I in a time of need and continue to support me as I participate in the amazing grup they offer. They are able to offer these critical services, at no cost to those affected by cancer, thanks to generous support from donors.
This cause is very important to me, and I hope you will join me by walking with me or making a donation. Thank you so much!
