Patricia Smith's Fundraising Page

22 years ago, Wellness House helped me recover from the impact that cancer had on my mind, body and spirit. Through their programs, I emerged a whole person once again. Over the years, I continue to support Wellness House by volunteering to do outreach plus facilitate the Native American style flute circle in an effort to reduce the impact of cancer on others. The statistics below dramatically reflect how important Wellness House is to the cancer community.
The virtual program offerings have reached the followiing:
March 16 - May 16, 2019 6220 visits to inhouse programs; 1023 individual participants
March 16 - May 16, 2020 9563 visits to online programs; 914 individual participants
No matter how someone has been affected by cancer — maybe they've been diagnosed, have a family member who’s living with cancer, or are a caregiver — you're welcome at Wellness House. Learn new skills, get information, and join others when you take classes, practice healthful living, reduce stress, and more.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Wellness House within 36 hours adapted programming to be accessible online. People affected by cancer are continuing to access the life-changing programs from the comfort and safety of their homes.
You can't put a price on what Wellness House provides. So we don't. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporations like you that provide gifts to Wellness House, there's absolutely no charge for all programs and services.
I am participating in the Walk for Wellness House because I know how important support and community is for people impacted by cancer, and I want to ensure their access to the life-changing programs and services at Wellness House.
I hope you will join me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goals, but more importantly to help people affected by cancer in our community.
Thank you!
