I Am Walking for Wellness House. Here's Why:

Personal experience with the Wellness House has been a first-class eperience. I have been diagnosed with cancer twice. The first time I handled it pretty much on my own with Joann's help. The second time was overwhelming. Participating in various programs at the Wellness House has help me to approach the future living using appropriate knowledge. Interacting with other survivors made me realize I was not alone.
No matter how someone has been affected by cancer — maybe they've been diagnosed, have a family member who’s living with cancer, or are a caregiver — you're welcome at Wellness House. Learn new skills, get information, and join others when you take classes, practice healthful living, reduce stress, and more.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Wellness House quickly adapted programming to be accessible online. People affected by cancer are continuing to access the life-changing programs from the comfort and safety of their homes.
You can't put a price on what Wellness House provides. So we don't. Thanks to the generosity of individuals like you, foundations and corporations that provide gifts to Wellness House, there's absolutely no charge for all programs and services.
Joann and I are participating in the Walk for Wellness House because I know how important support and community is for people impacted by cancer, and I want to ensure their access to the life-changing programs and services at Wellness House.
I hope you will join me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goals, but more importantly to help people affected by cancer in our community. Please support the variety of programs at the Wellness House.
Thank you!
