Joann and I are participating in the Walk for Wellness House because we know how important support and community is for people impacted by cancer, and we want to ensure their access to the life-changing programs and services at Wellness House. Help us reach our goal.
We know from personal experience how the Wellness House helps with those diagnosed with cancer, caregivers and family members. I have been diagnosed with cancer twice. The first time I pretty much handled it on my own with Joann's help. The second time was overwhelming. Participating in various programs at the Wellness House has help me learn how to approach the future using appropriate knowledge. Interacting with other survivors help made me realize I was not alone.
No matter how someone has been affected by cancer — maybe they've been diagnosed, have a family member who’s living with cancer, or are a caregiver — you're welcome at Wellness House. People learn new skills, get information, and join others when you take classes, practice healthful living, reduce stress, and more. All Wellness House programs and services are led by experts, designed to prepare and empower you to fully live life with cancer. All at no cost to you.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Wellness House quickly adapted programming to be accessible online, so people affected by cancer can continue to access life-changing programming from the comfort and safety of their homes.
You can't put a price on what the Wellness House provides. So we don't. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporations like you that provide gifts to Wellness House, there's absolutely no charge for all programs and services.
Thank you for supporting our Team, and making a difference for people affected by cancer in our community!
Please support the variety of programs at the Wellness House.
